Our process is designed with the goal of supporting you through the entire legal process. We start with a consultation in our Wolfeboro office, where we listen to your concerns.
After completion of your initial office visit, the attorney prepares an engagement agreement which includes the following: (1) a summary of recommendations; (2) specification of work to be performed; and (3) a flat fee for legal services with a retainer amount that is applied to the flat fee. The written agreement is mailed or emailed to you for review and approval.
When you are completely satisfied with the draft documents, an appointment is made for signature. At the signature meeting, final questions are answered and re-titling matters are discussed.
Our process centers around you. No question or concern is too trivial to discuss. We try to create an informal and welcoming environment within which you decide whether you wish us to represent you; your goals are addressed; and your objectives are effectuated.
You are never billed more than the flat fee to which you agreed in the engagement agreement. We look forward to meeting you.
At your initial meeting, we will get to know you and review your estate planning questionnaire.
We will prepare draft documents based on our meeting and your goals and objectives.
We will review the documents together and work through revisions if needed. Additionally, we will review which of your assets need to be re-tilted to assure future probate avoidance.
Our process is designed with the goal of learning your wishes and objectives and making them happen. When you request an appointment, we will forward you an estate planning questionnaire for completion and return to us prior to your initial office visit. After attorney review of your questionnaire, an office conference is scheduled. The focus of the initial conference is to get to know you; to discover your goals, and answer any preliminary questions you may have.
Upon receipt of your signed agreement and retainer, document preparation begins and completed drafts are sent to you for review and approval. If you have questions regarding the draft documents, you are invited back to the office for clarification and needed revisions. There is no extra cost for this visit.
When you are completely satisfied with the draft documents, an appointment is made for signature. At the signature meeting, final questions are answered and re-titling matters are discussed.
